And for a show that's not getting crazy views...how nice is that YouTube check after Google takes their 45% and Complex keeps whatever they keep?
I'm sure Complex makes plenty of money from their content creation on YouTube...they have multiple shows. I'm talking about the dynamics specifically on ES.
Ak is on record multiple times saying that what he does on his own w/ Twitch and YouTube makes him more than Complex.

at the end of the day this is like asking the same question about inside the NBA. i dont need to watch hip hop commentary shows for eye candy. although nadeska should be rewarded with a role in whatevers next since she apparently helped create/facilitate the show. scottie beam thicc *** would be cool too but she would also be knowing wtf she up there talking about beyond her just being fine.

Again...I'd prefer a woman there to balance out the vibe. If Ramona Shelbourne replaced Molly Querim...it'd still be better than just having Skip and Max on First Take.

**** is awful. I watched a few of them but Gil’s social media magic does not transfer on screen. And the other two male hosts talk way too much. It’s really their show and Gil and Mia are there for namesake

Yea im with you...having a female a part of the show is a must for energy purposes.
Nedeska adds nothing to the show. Her personality is dry. They should find a young Free, K Foxx or Angie.
Free and Angie are a collective 100 + years old. Why would 14-35 year olds really be excited about them replacing Nadeska? I dont know who K Foxx is. But I would say somebody like Letty who is based in LA. She knows her hip hop and she is Hispanic which would play to the diversity crowd.
Some of you guys are speaking strictly from your on personal view and not realistic from a complex/show runner pov.
Saying Nadeska adds nothing to the show also makes me believe you guys want something more than an actual "moderator" on a two man debate show.
She does her job. Has occasional input. No different from Molly or Joy on the sport debate shows. Sure she can have more input and show personality but she has grown since the show first started IMO. If anything they need better producers that can find better topics and allow for deeper dives in place of some of the bs they cover.

jake paul just said you get 10k for every million views on the breakfast club and ive heard similar numbers for years...he’s the hottest **** going so idk who would have it set up better than him if it was possible
unless youre saying that theyre making 10k a month off of stuff outside of direct ad revenue from YouTube
I feel like for the overall promo and buzz it brought Complex and the ability to probably sell the rights to live/first airing of episodes to MTV/Revolt/BET in the near future (if that already wasnt on the table)...they probably should have gave them what they all were asking for unless it was approaching 7 figures. For all that you can go get DomIsLive or some other bootleg Akademiks and Lord Jamar and try it again.

I disagree with her throwing off the chemistry tho... she the only one with any ounce of professionalism. she makes the show a lil more polished. Those dudes could say more wreckless stuff than they do.

If we're keeping it a buck, he probably doesn't get a single cent. The song probably isn't even his anymore. I'm almost certain he doesn't own the publishing to that song, so when his deal was up, so was the money being generated for him via that record.
That's the story with a lot of guys from that era actually. The independent route wasn't nearly as grand as it is now, so you had no leverage.
It's why TLC could be as big as they were at their peak, and be broke.
