Rap radar dudes dride Hov too much and messed up the buzz they had. Name of the game is consistency and they stopped producing content and started getting salty when Joe and Nore lapped em.

I respect Tidal but it was late in the race. It can still pop but they need new platform that's original not just a xcopy and Spotify. Nobody watches videos on either platform when you have YouTube.

AK is bigger then all of them combined and he understands the platform. I feel like people have to explain to Nore and RR dudes how to move in the space. Longevity wise I don't see how Nore can really keep it up.

Complex had always been a vulture in my eyes. They never fit into the culture and I always wondered why artist even gave them views. Despite that ES was a huge hit mainly because Joe is a top tier MC and few can hate on that. He's respected in all circles, a replacement is highly unlikely.

Wonder what Sean is getting paid, cause First We feast is easily the best show along with Hot ones. He basically carrying the content.

it’s strictly the views and how often you post vids and how many vids are monetized

number of subs give you a better chance at high views cause notifications but plenty of people with lower sub counts have views that are on par with pewdie

Having higher subs does matter in the sense that it shows advertisers and sponsors your reach. Now the actual views you get are of course gonna not be the same. The other issue is that ES aren’t their own channel, they are still hosted essentially on complex’s page. So all you have to go by is views. If they had their own channel and ex 1 million subscribers, they could go to complex and say our channel has x number of potential viewers and our reach is this. We want to negotiate based on that.

As far as Joe leaving, could be a good thing for everyone. Didn't know who the other two were before the show, but now they have more exposure and just replace Joe with another co-host, build chemistry, and keep it going.

They’ve been doing a better job of uploading the videos of the entire pod on YouTube. Thing is they delay it a day so the vid typically drops on Thursday. That ensures that they still get their SoundCloud and ITunes numbers up, and draw in extra from having the visuals up a day later. A few times over these past months, I’ve listened to the pod on Wednesday and then I’d follow up and watch the visual on Thursday because it was a particularly funny episode

CTG low key been plotting on EDS demise for numerous reasons. They’ve cut into breakfast clubs traffic and relevancy. Joes pod feeds off of EDS.

Based on Joe’s commentary on the podcast today, I’m man enough to say I was bugging by saying dude was displaying a lack of integrity yesterday.

“In receipt of your email, joe’s newly expired contract is indeed expired. We have moved on. If Joe is to come to work, that would be awesome, but he’ll accept this rate of [$200K]”
