What would you guys say realistically is a good offer to keep Joe on EDS? (Per year)

Rap Radar messed up by going to Tidal.
They got views before. Even on Rap Radar's website you have to be a member of Tidal to watch.
Then they stopped adding it to YouTube for a minute, which was dumb. Nobody is going to join a music service for a podcast.
Based on Joe’s commentary on the podcast today, I’m man enough to say I was bugging by saying dude was displaying a lack of integrity yesterday.
“In receipt of your email, joe’s newly expired contract is indeed expired. We have moved on. If Joe is to come to work, that would be awesome, but he’ll accept this rate of [$200K]”
Yeah. Complex wild for that.

Has anybody else confirmed those numbers?
Hiphopoverload isn’t a credible source at all. I peeped their socials and it’s laughable.
This is kind of my stance with the money issue right now. None of us can definitively say who's right and who's wrong here because NONE of us have the analytics and the breakdown of what's happening on the back end. Everything is hearsay at this point.
Nah. Complex can definitely cut the check
Calling someone self destructive is the same as them wanting to be compensated? So a football player holding out is the same as being self destructive? Lil Wayne or Tyga trying to get money from Birdman?
People really need to stop reposting this all over the net.

I know what they can do...but until I know what exactly the show is grossing for Complex...how on earth can I come up with an imaginary number to say "so and so SHOULD be paid this or that"

Cause it's imaginary. I can understand wanting to be realistic but in this situation we talkin' hypotheticals
i think da gist of what he was saying was right....
da actual semantics of why he's leaving he's dead wrong about.
But Joe Budden can do that because he's not only a media personality, he's also a rapper, he's not like CTG who is da EJ on NBA on TNT, never played ball, so his lanes to secure da bag are more limited than say Charles Barkley.
CTG low key been plotting on EDS demise for numerous reasons. They’ve cut into breakfast clubs traffic and relevancy. Joes pod feeds off of EDS.
Ctg knows content is king.
1.5 - 2 mill
Roman Atwood had over 8 million subs and multiple videos w 25+ mil views in 2015 and he took home 2m that year with content that’s vastly more family/kid friendly. That was like Top 10 then.
In 2017, 2mil would put you around the Top 20-25 earners. You telling me Joe by himself deserve Top 25 YouTube money bro ?
According to an average estimated and published recently by Information Is Beautiful, YouTube may pay as little as $0.0006 for every view, which adds up to only $1.8 million for 3 billion plays. A previous estimate suggested that just after he had reached 2 billion streams, Psy had made about $2 million on YouTube, though since then, ad rates have dipped, so it is possible that Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee have earned less money for 3 billion views than Psy did for his two.
The money from Google themselves was likely "small" because they weren't doing crazy numbers if these numbers from Forbes are realistic/right:

The real money would be from how much they were getting from ads. I'd say $600-750k would have a more realistic max for Joe with Ak getting a lil less $500-650k
