I don't remember the album. Since it's been mentioned, I might revisit it.
I remember getting it when it came out, and thinking it was repetitive and one long song and quickly growing tired of it like Das Efx or Digable Planets. More style than substance, because they weren't talking about anything.

Camp Lo had some joints on the 2nd album that flew way under the radar too
Camp Lo rapping about "nothing" is exactly why they appealed to me. They spoke in a HEAVILY 70s/blaxploitation inspired slang + their own...almost like their own language. Nobody else sounded like them to me...which was what reeled me in.
