Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I don't listen to Carti so I had no idea that this was his song. I heard it in the background on that SayCheese video and assumed it was this dude song.
I’m still laughing at this weird *** *****. If I need a quick laugh, I go to this video.
Clown *** dude    He trying hard as hell too.

There’s a whole lane of emo, trap, pop-punk, rock, sus rap out there. Think of that Lil Peep guy that died some time ago.

P was close with Flee and Flee just put a tape out with Havoc. Don't know the details at all with P's daughter but from that one track seems like she wants to get offered a bigger bag from him?

Buddy all confused. Don’t know whether he wanna be a gangster, goth or a sissy. Pray for these young ****** man :smh:

He ain’t confused. He know exactly what he wanna be :lol :lol :lol

All those years of us black folks laughing at the EMO kids in school. With black trench coats, sitting Indian style in the hallway playing pokemon and yu-gi-oh....

Anime REALLLYYYYYY equalled the playing field :lol :lol

Can’t be mad at the yute though. When Prince, earth wind and fire, the isley brothers , melle mel, etc also were dressing that way. It’s all for the laughs

As in should have always been. This is the best thing about society now. Be who you want and be comfortable
Outcasts have always had each other though. The difference is today's outcasts dont think they're lame for not being like everyone else. Quite the opposite in fact. The weirder, the bolder these days.

I am still 10000 percent convinced Chance wrote this verse for Wayne. Cadence is straight Chance-like and while I dont check for his music like that anymore and havent for a while, I've never heard Wayne flow with that cadence.

Agreed. Cats doing anything for attention. Don't be surprised if you see them start running around like the village people.

I ran in to Jerzee Monet before trying to get me to go to a show, caught me off guard.

My whole thought process you looked a lot better in that video.

the fans be loyal too they buying into the lifestyle/aesthetic as a whole, _’s feel 10x cooler listening to Carti lol

I think we all have a list of songs where you stop everything you're doing when it comes on, and turn in up. No skips, regardless of the circumstances.

This is one of them for me.

If Cole didnt sound half sleep during his 1st verse, I'd say it's a perfect song.
