No, he has to give a reason for getting rid of the gun. Obviously he wasn't smart enough to wipe it for prints or get rid of it where it couldn't be found.
Prosecutor is going to portray him as a gang member and use his music as proof.
Defense is going to say that's just music and put the victim on trial.
You guys don't know how trials work?
I had a feeling that you were being serious………unfortunately. This is what happens when dudes watch a few episodes of Law and Order…….maybe some old reruns of Matlock even. You and I both know it’s a wrap for this dude. The whole ….”I was scared and this was my first time” is an automatic death sentence. Dudes best bet at this time is to take a plea deal of any kind other than going forward and say “I thought about going to trial until I looked on Niketalk and Deuce King advised me better because Magic33 wanted me to die in jail with a laughable excuse that NOBODY would have believed.”
What I’m trying to get you and others to understand is that in situations like this it’s best to always stay there on scene and explain your side to the police if it really is SELF DEFENSE. Running away with a fresh and fit outfit on with a hot gun tucked in hand only for that same gun to be found and discovered to have your fingerprints on the murder weapon while you are on the run is a recipe for disaster. Dudes gotta look at the big picture from afar and stop being nearsighted.
