I think a lot of it was Missy, and she's actually been busier the past couple of years.

But it's also, talent versus one dimensional man made talent

The new chicks don't seem to embrace Missy. They don't even do it with Kim, Eve, Trina and Foxy. A lot of it probably stems from being manufactured rappers.

If you aren't the one writing and dictating your career it's not for you to determine how it goes. If you're writing her music you aren't going to put her beside Missy where the talent disparity if evident. Look at the performances which just consist of twerking.

In fact her even wearing that is kinda out of character from what she’s presented herself as over the years and ironically kinda goes back to that Janelle Monae/Tracee Ross convo where the culture has gotten to a place where it kinda makes a woman feel like she “lame” if she don’t do that type ****. Fully agree Keke been on a different time since she dropped that baby. People change. It might just be them, and not them trying to keep up with ****.

I was actually surprised that Keke recently described herself as LGTBQw/e...maybe even went as far to say she was non-binary. Never got those vibes from her before. And while i dont necessarily agree with that idea/movement, I don't think it's a surprise that someone feeling as though they are discovering themselves gets more comfortable with their own body to the point of showing it off more. Monae had the exact same arc...she came out as lesbian and really got comfortable displaying sexual imagery.
