Chopped & Screwed creeped its way up to the DMV in the early-mid 00s. I was playing a Swishahouse cd in the stockroom at my job. Manager came back and asked if the batteries were dying in the CD playerBoyz don't know nothing about that screwzoo mane
That's funny it's definitely an acquired taste and not for everyone. Me personally I love it may be a lil biased though lol I'm from Houston so I grew up on it. There's definitely a difference though between chopped and screwed and a Dj screw tape.Chopped & Screwed creeped its way up to the DMV in the early-mid 00s. Appreciate the info. I’m from the east coast so I never knew the nuances. The only Screw tape I remember really listening to was 3 N the Mornin and that was definitely after he passed. I had a phase of running to anything Swishahouse, Watts, or Ron C touched. Then Slim K came into the mix. Came across so many bad mixes from random, amateur DJs so learned to stick with the big names. That's funny it's definitely an acquired taste and not for everyone. Glad to hear that alot of folks just think it's simply slowing down the music and adding in a random chop's but it's definitely not and takes true skills. Dj screw was a genius and a master for his craft.Appreciate the info. I’m from the east coast so I never knew the nuances. You really think these grown *** women care about being lame?
Maybe if you used the word relevant, I'd follow. Lame though? To be that rich. That sexy. That talented...you think they worried about being lame? I dunno, man. They might just be into that ****.
Fully agree Keke been on a different time since she dropped that baby. People change. It might just be them, and not them trying to keep up with ****.
I was actually surprised that Keke recently described herself as LGTBQw/e...maybe even went as far to say she was non-binary. Never got those vibes from her before. And while i dont necessarily agree with that idea/movement, I don't think it's a surprise that someone feeling as though they are discovering themselves gets more comfortable with their own body to the point of showing it off more. Monae had the exact same arc...she came out as lesbian and really got comfortable displaying sexual imagery.

Lauren Sanchez is too old to get pregnant.Ehh.. the richest man in the world baby moms stay naked & the previous first lady was a pin up girl.
This ain't the thread for that conversation. Let's watch folks rap. What
Let's look at the actions of Donald Glover and then ask ourselves is he really one to pull clout chasing moves. Not a Drake defender by any means, but it was random when Donald Glover came out and said that in the first place. Song didn’t end up being a diss, so mentioning it after the fact does seem clout chase-y
Drugs are sad. He should have never fallen off if he could do this
