Ray's wife disgusts me on so many levels. She loves the things the lifestyle brings but hates Ray for how he makes a living. She reminds me of a slightly less annoying version of Carmela Soprano. She'll hand out sex as long as Ray gets her that house or gets their daughter into private school so she can feel better about growing up in a rough area.

I really don't understand the hate for Abbey, Ray is an emotionally distant adulterer. He is no way a good husband or father. He uses money to buy his family's love when all they really want is for him to be there. An Ray knows this but refuses to do it. Abbey is starved for love and attention, not just women, but all people crave that. So i don't understand how she can be faulted for looking elsewhere for it. She even tried to rationalize Ray's behavior to the therapist and he pulls her card when he calls Ray's "gifts" for what they are, bribes.

Ray is the guilty party in that relationship.

Despite this ep, I'm still going off last ep thinking this all ends badly, whether the reporter didn't get on the plane or actually left. Initially, I thought they were gonna actually tell her the truth up to the point about who killed who. It was a bad lie in that they fronted like Mickey and Sully were still friends even though Sully fell out with Mickey over the girl and not Mickey snitching. All it will take is for her to go back to Boston and just basically hear word on the street is Donovan snitched on Sully's whole fam and gang.

The rest I continue to not care for with the daughter and wife.
