Stumbled on this...............found it amusing and scary at what America has become

Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy whenBush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with
China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism. HMOs and insurance companies have the bestinterests of the public at heart.

Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is a impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is soliddefense policy.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for yourrecovery.

Supporting "Executive Privilege" for every Republican ever born, who will be born or who might be born( in perpetuity.)

What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant.

They are not cowards, they want to win, they can't win without their white/southern/ blue collar/ uneducated/ ignorant base, so they get behind BS theories in order to win elections. They get with the program so their guy can win. Liberals and Dems. tend to argue amongst themselves a lot more, that has caused them to lose elections.

Wrong. America has awoken. Read: Minnesota Senate Election

this list can't be serious... it sounds like propaganda one would hear from randi rhoades on air america. as dirty said... they are all great sound bites, but are not even remotely what republicans are for.

i laugh at most republicans on the national stage cause these last 8 years were pretty bad and im not just talkin the administration, im talking01-06 but this comment is off based

democrats are cowards too, take the 700 billion bailout, dems are in charge of congress and (along withe the administration), they were supposed to delegatesome kind of committee (separate of the administrations) to oversee the handling of this money, yet theyve done jack !*#% cause moneys probably going to theirpockets - whos gonna miss a bil here and a bil there right???

i know im incredibly naive in saying this but hopefully the obama administration actually separates itself from congress democrats

Pretty much.

Global Warming is JUNK SCIENCE and there is proof.

Tobacco isn't linked to cancer. The ingredients that are in cigarettes are linked to cancer.

you democrats absolutely love al gore and his ideas about global warming...if you talk to any decently headed environmental sciences major they will thell youthat global warming is false...ive even talked to democrats who have told me that

First of all, I am NOT a Republican but I think that the ideology of the Republican Party is a needed aspect of American society, just like I believethat the Democratic Party is essential for the survival of our people. These two parties keep each other in check because the solutions to most problems issomewhere down the middle and not to the extreme wings of either party.

Stumbled on this...............found it amusing and scary at what America has become

Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

I think that there are many Republicans who don't hate homosexuals but they view homosexuality as immoral. It depends upon your belief system andit takes time and experience to change those beliefs. Yes, they hate the Clintons because they beat the Republicans at their own game. Republicans are usedto smearing Dems as liberal/communists/elitists/weak and when they face democrats that can't be beat with these old tactics, they just get angry and hatethem.

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy whenBush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

Foreign policy is not a zero/sum game. We make alliances with people who help our national interests and we are against people who want to harm us. Sometimes we can't choose our partners because we have to deal with the situations as they are, not like how we wish them to be.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with
China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

Both the parties shied away from trading with Cuba because of the Florida electorate (exiled Cubans). This is actually an example of the power ofvoting. If people learned and voted their interests, more things would be accomplished that would satisfy the electorate.

The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.

Once again this is foreign policy so see the response above. Also, not yielding any of our soveignty to the U.N. is a good thing because U.N.interests do not equal U.S. interests.

A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

This is once again extreme policies. If you look at the Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan Republicans, you would see that they weren't this extreme. Politicians just aren't that smart so they just follow the last popular politician but to the extreme. How many wannabe JFKs or Reagans have there been. No originality. JFK actually cut taxes and Nixon actually had lots of social programs.

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

This is not all Republicans, just the G.W. Bush ones. No other Republican administration has been this irresponsible.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

This is a good one. Sometimes Republicans believe ignorance = bliss.

A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

This is just George W. His father actually went a different way.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism. HMOs and insurance companies have the bestinterests of the public at heart.

This goes with belief in the free market system. Which at it's core isn't bad but the government also needs to play a part. The belief isthat the free market can provide competition, which will result in better services for cheaper prices. It's just that there needs to be leadership fromthe government because if it is an all-government run system, it will be inefficient and they will not be able to control cost and quality. Just look at howthey didn't manage the bail-out money and just handed it out to the banks without any accountability. Government solution doesn't = good.

Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

Extreme-wing beliefs.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is a impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is soliddefense policy.

Most republicans didn't think that G.W. was lying. They were afraid, as were we all, and G.W. exploited it. Hence his poll numbers. Fear makespeople do horrible things.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

Extreme wing.

The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

G.W. Bush Administration and the people who hijacked the Republican Party.

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for yourrecovery.

Hypocrites. They are in every party/society.

Supporting "Executive Privilege" for every Republican ever born, who will be born or who might be born( in perpetuity.)

HUH? This doesn't even make sense.

What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant.

Politics. It's a game. If you lose, you don't govern. Republicans will attack Dems all day but Dems can't be lame and just "takethe high road". We have to learn to hit and hit back hard. Sad but true.
