Enough energy has been directed at cops and police stations for decades for them to change. Blood has been shed. The vast majority of the violence isn't being perpetrated by the protestors, in some cases the police are escalating situations as I witnessed it yesterday first hand in LA. It is unfortunate but violence is inherent in the very fabric of America.
