RIP George Floyd

ksteezy ksteezy seems there’s other options than guns in a knife situation after all

That video is what im saying, that cop had his TASER out, so whatever was gonna happen he was gonna use the taser. Cop in question, had the gun out immediately, from then on there WERE no options but the gun. He coudda had his taser be the weapon of choice if he chose to grab that first.

Any Fbi or other federal agents can shoot the police?
Check this out, especially in light of white supremacist groups being involved with police department.....

Secret Service Versus DC Police
No weapons order is an insult to rank-and-file police officers

Right before President Barack Obama watched the Washington Wizards hammer his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, the Secret Service sent out an order to DC cops: if you're off-duty and packing heat, forget about getting into the game.
In an internal memo obtained by The Washington Examiner, the special agents said that "off-duty members attending the game will NOT be allowed to carry firearms into the arena. As such, members attending the game in an off-duty capacity and armed will be denied entry."
It's not clear how many officers were affected by the order for the February 27 game at the Verizon Center, but "the order is an insult to rank-and-file police officers," police union chairman Kris Baumann told The Examiner.

Yes, secret service operates under a different set of rules than the Police dept. They can pop caps right back at the police, with no holds barred if need be.

Funny cause that actually could have happened. Still waiting to hear whats gonna happen to the active duty military and law enforcement that was in there. They probably knew better than to take on those agents.

youngwolf youngwolf said it best that too many people think the police are Batman, when in reality the police are the police in Batman.

LOL no one thinks or want the police to become batman. The things people are asking for aren't "superhuman" or impressive by any means.

I guess that's what happens when society becomes complacent with incompetence.

If you ever visit Iceland - everybody owns a gun. They haven’t had a violent crime with a gun since 2007. And that was just one instance.

It’s doable.

“No other country in the developed world comes close to the U.S. when it comes to gun ownership, gun homicides, mass shootings and police killings.”

Yea I think Switzerland is another country were a huge percentage has a legally owned gun and they know how to behave themselves.

That's the issue. The root problem isn't guns. It's the US being an inherently violent culture. Guns just makes things more convenient. The culture is probably never going to change, since the leaders are hellbent on preserving the status quo which has led to said violence. So it would only be reasonable to at least try to be more aggressive when it comes to gun measures while addressing other causative social variables like racial and income inequality and mental health.

hence the gun thread, NRA, etc...

reading the root yesterday, the writer made a great point about something that always made me uncomfortable:

the media needs to end the use of OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING.

can't stand **** like that. just be clear about it, the video already is. the police officer shot and killed... that's it. why be so passive-aggressive about it.

officer-involved shooting...racially charged/sensitive/motivated. tf is that? just say racist.

that **** is mad annoying....
