definitely wasn't case hence why it was a promo commercial to advertise when they brung it back everytime.

I used to get 5$ Subs everyday of the week near my old job for a years. This was around 2008 and in Cali.

Granted it wasn’t every sandwich but it was MOST.

they franchise so they all move differently I imagine

But I lived off them $5 joints around my way until they upped the price and then I was out.

how abundant are those choices compared to subway....da answer is not at all.

subway is better than McDonald's/burger king/popeyes/kfc/white castle as far as healthier choices in da fast food realm.

In NYC you see Subway's all over, in other parts of the country they're a lot less abundant unless it's tied to a rest area off the side of a highway.

Food is garbage for what you pay. $5-$6 footlongs were their saving grace. Now there are better options for the same price

Yeah, I’d rather hit a grocery store deli than most fast food anyways. We don’t have Publix here but other places have fire.

when i was young blimpie was cool, but they DRENCHED their subs wit oil & vinegar.

Had subway a few days ago after not eating there for almost a year....almost $8 for a six inch sub/combo. Nah, don’t wanna be back for another year.

That’s because it’s the cheapest franchise to open..

That distinction goes to Chick Fil A, at $10k.

On the other hand you have to commit to opening multiple Subways if you are a new franchisee.
