An ounce of pure gold is $1800. The amount used on this is a lot less. The diamonds are small VS clarity. If you visit 47th street in NYC, you could probably get a better quality version under $2k (maybe a couple hundred less if you pay cash).

For me Ginzas are typically their best FW pieces and this years colorways are on point. Priced semi reasonably for a high quality over shirt.
