Well considering each of the players have Dirk Nowitzki and Melo, of course teams don't.
Does that take away how effective Kidd and Billups are at the point guard position? NO

Kidd IMO is the best shooting point guard and the best rebounding PG in the league.

Deron - just because he's stronger/can play the 2 and is a legit scorer
CP - makes everyone better, not really a scorer like D Will but his assists and steals number make up for it.
Rondo - wasn't Kobe and LeBron forced to guard him in the playoffs last year? And his assists numbers are crazy (this season)
Steve Nash - I have him fourth because he turns the ball over too much.
Chauncey - way more of a threat than Rose IMO. Knows when to take over a game and get others involved.
J. Kidd - basketball IQ is top notch. Plays solid D when his body allows him.
Rose - explosive but can't hit a jumper =/

Ok haven't been online for a couple days and this thread has got some ridiculous statements in it that almost challenge a Kobe thread.

MY FIRST BEEF. WHY IS STEPH CURRY BROUGHT UP SO MUCH AND AT THAT I SEE CURRY > WESTBROOK??!!? GET OUTTA HERE NO ARGUMENT.

Next is Deron Williams really #1? CP3 get hurt and folks done forgot? *cues Roy Jones track*

I hope ya'lls memory has returned because on Friday CP3 had 19 dimes to beat Miami. They had no answers for him hitting Omeka off!

Last, I can see why Russ isn't in top 5 and I am a little bias cuz he is my dude. Ya'll point out the 41% from the field but lets realize the whole team been slumping since game 1. Durant is shooting a smooth 37%. Also the only PG that rebounds better than Russell is Kidd and maybe Rondo. Rondo gets them on weak pg's who sleep but Russ and Kidd will get in there no matter whos under there.
