If you're Velez, why would you physically turn around to see where the ball is when you have a 3rd base coach with a perfect view of the situation?

How will Randy Winn find a way NOT to get this run in?

Edit - You still suck.

Just got home....missed the game. Sounds like yet another frustrating win. I love that we are still competitive with the worst offense in the major leagues. Ijust hope, playoffs or not, management doesnt look at this team and think "well we accomplished __________ this year, we arent that far away" anddecide to do nothing more than tweek the team a little bit. As good as we have been, we still need a complete overhaul of our offense.

MILWAUKEE -- It will be Labor Day when Freddy Sanchez gets back to work for the San Francisco Giants.

Manager Bruce Bochy, who hinted Sanchez could join the team for Sunday's finale in Milwaukee, said the injured second baseman would play once more for Triple-A Fresno on Saturday night.

"He's going to get four at-bats today, take the day off tomorrow and meet us back in San Francisco," Bochy said.

Sanchez, rehabbing a left shoulder strain, has gone 2-for-6 in a pair of rehab stints with Fresno thus far, including a double and a walk. The Giants parted with highly regarded Minor League pitcher Tim Alderson to acquire the second baseman from Pittsburgh before the Trade Deadline in late July, and Sanchez hit .304 in 56 at-bats with his new club before the injury.
