Shooting Reported at Las Vegas Casino Hotel

What's the point of deflecting over your precious guns? Both prescription abuse and gun violence are major issues. Just because people die for other reasons doesn't mean there's not something wrong with a savage gun worshipping fetish

I find it interesting that people spend the majority of their political discussions bashing the other side, especially while the other side is in office, but yet the Left actually want to embolden the government ... It is the most asinine and illogical approach ...

This is a great example ... Let's send Trump's minions into every home to confiscate all firearms ... Cuz in all honesty that's the only way stuff like this is stopped ...

I think people need to stop thinking the other side will never be in power ...

If you or anyone else can't see the irony in wanting more gun control to stop deaths from guns by people who use them wrong while claiming those drugs are 100% safe when used as directed even though they objectively kill more people than guns 5 fold then I don't what else I can say.

What's the intended use of medicine?

What's the intended use of a gun?

I guess you were there so you understand their intent 100%

You should be made aware that the Constitution is a living document, meaning it is left to future generations to interpret, change (Amendment), or add to as they see fit.

What made the Founding Fathers so brilliant is they understood it wasn't up to them to decide the future of the country. They knew it was best for future generations to decide.

They LITERALLY intended for me to interpret their intent.

It's too late for gun control. Maybe in terms of monthly limits and better mental screening.

At this point a lot of people who you don't want having guns have them. Look at Charlottesville.

Do you want to be without a gun(s)

If Trump did that without any bias, I'd be 100% for it. Unfortunately he's a racist pig, so I don't trust him with the task of going into people's homes to confiscate weapons.

Honestly I think it's just how certain people grew up. Anyone who has grew up in the belly of the beast has seen what it's capable of. I think those that have would agree that it's borderline ******ed to surrender a means of protection if necessary due to the current climate. On the opposite side of the equation, you have people who look like us but their experience in America isn't the same. They were able to effectively execute things that were important to them through a political process. If that's the only reference point they have, why wouldn't they think it's the way to go? I think another factor is a loss of culture. I notice a lot of people most invested in the political process come from places where they've exchanged their former culture for the american one. In an effort to make it seem like they belong and are part of the collective, they go out of their way to be well versed in politics. Some so much so that they don't realize even if they're in a suit, they're still a ninja in a suit. Pun intended.

If people show you who they are, believe them. This country bombed it's own citizens in Tulsa, intentionally gave men syphilis, and lied about what happened in the Gulf of Tonkin just to start a war. There's a laundry list i could list why an entity of this sort has revealed who and what it is capable of time and time again. For those who don't see it by now means they probably weren't meant to see it.

I grew up in a military family and was in the military myself. I've been around guns for a large portion of my life. To this day I hate them. I think they are the quintessential embodiment of the fragile European male psyche. If you have problem with me let's shoot the fair one and go home after. If the problem requires lethal means, be man enough to kill the person and experience what death looks like face to face. With that said, different times call for different measurements. There's no way I am not keeping a firearm after I've seen what humanity is capable of. Violence should always be the last answer, but if it comes to it I am doing what is necessary to protect myself and my family. For such a situation, I don't need the permissions and licenses of something outside of myself.

There is a strong correalation between white fragiliy and obsessive gun ownership. I agree 100%

You might be shocked to hear this, but you can have gun control AND own a gun.

It's regulation, not prohibition. Don't get it twisted.

I'm down for someone being able to own a gun, but its a bit out there when they have more guns than shoes in their closet. The man had 18 additional firearms on top of what was found within the hotel along with explosives etc ?

It's so weird to me that people of color think that Federal government is going to equal apply laws in this country to everyone equally WHILE Trump is office.

It's literally mind blowing to me.

Guns are already controlled. How is it too late for more? It's only too late when we're all dead.

I'm starting to realize they sound like they want to make it easier to obtain guns and insinuating everybody should have one.

Semi autos are already out here

How to modify them and put them fully auto is already out here also

If you want a weapon illegally you can get it.

Again, who said anything about confiscating all firearms?

Yup, just like you can illegally kill someone or steal a car. Doesn't mean we shouldn't have laws against it.

It's a moot point.

Unless American culture changes then this stuff won’t change.

Curious. Is there another first world country that also has to deal with mass shootings like this on the regular?

THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THE SHOT STOPS ... WHY DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THIS?

Look, we can sit here all day and sugarcoat this ******** but the reality is guns aren't going anywhere and neither is crazy ... Crazy ************* are crazy and 50 Million people think our President is crazy ...

So let's pump the ****in brakes on more gun control ... It might not be imminent but I'd rather have a fighting chance when a corrupt government comes to take me away than not ...
