Kwame will shine in Detroit just like Rip and Big Ben did. Still hate the signing though but this means that there is a trade thats gonna go down and i thinkits us getting Artest.

I agree 100%. While Kwame hasn't lived up to being the 1st pick in the draft, he is definitely a serviceable big man. While he will never give you 20/10 on a consistent basis, he can give you 20-25 minutes of solid basketball of the bench. I'm sorry Ronny Turiaf is not that good, and the fact that he got a 4 year contract is laughable.

Co-sign, Turiaf is garbage IMO but so is Kwame.

how many championships has Detroit won with Darko?

I don't know, man. Ricky is one of those guys that, whether its his fault or not, every team he goes to gets worse. He's been in the leaguelike 12 years and been to the playoffs how many times? Once or twice maybe, if that. Hopefully, however, he'll end up being a solid bench contributor forthe Clips.Originally Posted by mjshoefanatic

franchise3:
Turiaf > Kwame, but, Kwame has a higher ceiling.
Agreed.
I have to agree with that, because I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't.
I have said for a couple years that my BIGGEST complaint with Kwame is that I see the potential there, but I don't see anything that would show thathe's worked on anything... AND I hear stories of him dogging it in practice, being unmotivated in practice, consistently showing up late to practice, etc, etc.
Of course that's all just hearsay, but then when you see him struggle on the court, you have to think there is some truth.
But I definitely think that, out of everyone that we make fun of and get disappointed with, he has among the highest ceilings of all of them. He has thepotential to be a dominant force.
Yes.
A dominant force.
I have absolutely annihilated him on here, but that's why: because I see so much potential in him.
But instead, he's out planning events at clubs and what not.
