Ska its been going on long enough...time to lock....

Kwame will shine in Detroit just like Rip and Big Ben did. Still hate the signing though but this means that there is a trade thats gonna go down and i thinkits us getting Artest.

I agree 100%. While Kwame hasn't lived up to being the 1st pick in the draft, he is definitely a serviceable big man. While he will never give you20/10 on a consistent basis, he can give you 20-25 minutes of solid basketball of the bench. I'm sorry Ronny Turiaf is not that good, and the fact that hegot a 4 year contract is laughable.

He will hopefully be shipped during a package deal sometime this season. He isn't better than Amir or Max or hell whoever else we have on the bench.

Co-sign, Turiaf is garbage IMO but so is Kwame.

What makes Kwame any better than Turiaf? I can't think of a single positive to his game other than him being 7 ft tall and taking up space. Hecan't rebound, can't block shots, can't play any sort of offense (since he can't catch the ball), and has been exposed as mentally weak. Turiafhas a jumper, can rebound, blocks shots, and hustles... none of which Kwame can claim to do.

RONNY TURIAF IS A BUM!!!!

I DON'T KNOW WHY Y'ALL HOLD HIM IN SUCH A HIGH REGARD!

I WAS DEAD SERIOUS.

KWAME > RONNY TURIAF.

The fact that people actually think Ronny Turiaf has a jumper lets me know that I have no reason to argue this point so i'm gonna let it die.

If you choose to disregard my opinion on sports for the rest of my tenure on here, than so be it...

mm hmm. not defending or condoning this type of player skill in the NBA,

but how many championships has Detroit won with Darko?

And how many championships has Detroit won without Darko?

Turiaf > Kwame, but, Kwame has a higher ceiling.

It's just a question of whether he'll actually reach it.

Detroit is a good a place as any though for him to get back on track.

I don't know, man. Ricky is one of those guys that, whether its his fault or not, every team he goes to gets worse. He's been in the leaguelike 12 years and been to the playoffs how many times? Once or twice maybe, if that. Hopefully, however, he'll end up being a solid bench contributor forthe Clips.

Turiaf > Kwame, but, Kwame has a higher ceiling.
Agreed.

I have to agree with that, because I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't.

I have said for a couple years that my BIGGEST complaint with Kwame is that I see the potential there, but I don't see anything that would show thathe's worked on anything... AND I hear stories of him dogging it in practice, being unmotivated in practice, consistently showing up late to practice, etc, etc.

Of course that's all just hearsay, but then when you see him struggle on the court, you have to think there is some truth.

But I definitely think that, out of everyone that we make fun of and get disappointed with, he has among the highest ceilings of all of them. He has thepotential to be a dominant force.

Yes.

A dominant force.

I have absolutely annihilated him on here, but that's why: because I see so much potential in him.

But instead, he's out planning events at clubs and what not.
