This sister has my admiration. She holds it down, eloquent and sexy. She said all that needs to be said.
I wish I had the air date, but I do not.Where is the REST!
She shut the, "All because of Trump" talk down.I wish I had the air date, but I do not.
Exactly. Why haven't these black celebrities created their own luxury lines instead of still flexing Italian/french brands?
Bad sister! I've watched her go to work on quite a few White libs and Republicans. From what I understand, quite a few Trump supporters refuse to go on the air with her, and my girl from AM Joy. They are afraid of being backed into a corner by these two.She shut the, "All because of Trump" talk down.
As if this is new.
She was too nice to them man
Mostly because it's not as easy as it seems. Sure starting a business is easy, it's mostly paperwork but having a successful business is another matter.
Most celebrities have enough money to start a new clothing line but not many have the connections and money to fund a long lasting respectable "luxury" brand. I know Kanye has gone off the deep end but his struggle to having a respectable brand is a good example. He knew he could afford to start at nothing and build a brand with completely new relationships with manufacturers and all the middle men that help bring our clothes from organic material to the store but he also knew that the connections had already been made by certain companies and certain people and trying to outright work around those people is one heck of a battle and chose to work with an already established brand to make his clothes and use their connections and relationships.
But the focus doesn't need to be "We need to start more luxury brands" but we need to support already existing brands
Gucci issued an apology for the offense caused by their “blackface sweater”. I don’t accept. In fact, at this point, I’m convinced that these “mistakes” are part of these folks marketing strategy. No one can still be this clueless unless its intentional.
That being said, here is a list of Black owned luxury brands that you can use to replace brands like Gucci and Prada that refuse to act right.
