so.......why havent you been writing your relative/good friend thats locked down?

i dont write good jail letters, i dont be knowing what to say

i feel #$!%+! up for sharing good news about whats going on in the streets with someone whos eating ramen noodles mixed with cheese doodles everyday

i try to make up for it by looking out for them when they come home

He just got out, and he wasn't sweating me about it. My mom did write him though so I guess just hearing from her was cool enough.

One dude is doing 3 in Clinton and he doesn't want any reminders of the outside world.  That includes friends, and family. 
He has done time before and adapts a whole new mentality when going back in.

My other dude has just started his sentence and I haven't got an address for him yet, but he will need to be visited.  He's not built like that.

none of my close people are locked up now but when they were i made sure to send them a kite just to know the outside world hadn't forgotten about them.. being locked up is serious business and people need to know that they have support.

yea i suck at writin letters, i just visit accept calls & put a lil sumthin on they commissary. my homeboy just got sentenced to 30 years last week & i aint got his info yet but when i get it ima look out for him

Because these cats are no different then when they got clinked for some serious offenses.
It's sad, but I have my own family now. And it's my responsibility to keep them protected from these types of people.
I'll catch them in a few years at the family reunion.
