^not gonna lie .... besides the new Mercs/Superflys..... the CR7 line sucks compared to last year...... I really wish they made the Lunar Gato Safaris in the Black and VOLT alternative like they did with the Safari Mercs/Superflys. Man if that's solar red looks verrrry PINK almost looks like a woman's breast cancer tribute trainer or some extra feminine zebra print and hot pink motif. DISAPPOINT! the whole line is SMH. That's my rant for the day I really was excited to see these and now I'm crushed lol...I hope the "LIMITED" sneakers in this line that people are talking about will be better.

^Mostly agree... the CR7 Safari LunarGatos were FIRE. Regret not copping. The last two Safari lines were just so dope, and this new line is... I don't really know what to say...

during a facebook chat with cristiano sponsored by nike yesterday (11/17), nike posted this pic and said that they would explain why CR does this to his boots before matches. i'm sure it's just his way of breaking in the boot, but i can't even imagine how many more pairs nike will sell because kids will try this with their boots and make them break down so much quicker!

adidas' design for the euro 2012 matchball (no name as of yet)....

speaking of adidas ball design, if any of you guys caught the mls cup final last night, they used a special matchball for the final - however, it was a dark silver without contrasting patterns and was very tough to see even with HDTV. i hope they'll make some changes if galaxy use that ball next season!

some positive news to report.... as some of us suspected, the nike elite line isn't dead forever. it'll return in time for euro 2012. hopefully i can get my almost destroyed maestris and slightly crispier lasers to last until then!
