I think it's gonna take more than a few years for the lakers to be contenders again. Kobe career is at its end and D Howard isn't a player that other star players want to play with. Mind you at this point, the Lakers havent completed their Finals victories over Orlando and Boston yet.

But you guys are singling out one member out of the group of Laker fans in this thread.

Anyway, we have 1 more game today and it's simple. Play your *** off or that's it. As much as I want this season from hell to be over. I want to see just one more win at least. Just give me something. Spurs-Lakers playoff series has always been a tough, gritty matchup. But with all the injuries, it's just not the same. I agree, I wanted to see a Kobe-Duncan matchup one more time, who knows if we will see that again.

If our season ends today, or the next game, it has been one hell of a ride. Win or lose I still and will forever bleed that purple & gold. And I at the dudes that take enjoyment out of seeing us struggle. Means we've been doing something right for multiple years.


I was thinking, now that GLock is back on the squad, do you guys think we should keep him for next season? I feel like he would be money coming off the bench, something we haven't had this season at all. I believe Meeks has a team option, we should just let him walk, GLock is pretty much the same type of player he is, expect dude has those floaters, and Meeks is out of control when he drives

Hopefully when the Spurs drive a stake into this series and head to the next round, LA resigns all their players except Dwight. They have some real talent up there and need to lock up that core of Blake, Pau, Jamison and Artest. I feel at least Pau and Blake deserve a max deal from them.
