If their done making clone wars how about an animated show on what happened between episode 3 and 4?

:lol

Not all that excited about Rebels tho to be honest. Combo of Episode VII fever, it being about new characters (though major PT and OT characters will appear) and the fact that it's on Disney :\

Although I didn't start watching the Clone Wars until the season 3 Mortis/Force Gods episodes. So who knows, maybe I'll end up liking this show like I did TCW.

The last we saw of Mandalore tho (in cannon) it was under the rule of Darth Maul (before Sidious got to him) and had taken back up its warrior roots... So who knows what they'll be like in future stories.

But making the Mandos pacifist is probably my biggest gripe with anything Lucas has ever done to Star Wars... Serious.

Mandalorians... pacifist!?!?!? How you go from this:

to Gandhi?

Speaking of which... Can we get a KOTOR movie?

Thought the trailer was real kiddie :{ . I honestly would of preferred a series about the empire hunting down the remaining Jedi but it's Disney :rolleyes

There are books depicting the Jedi Purge, so that part of the story is more or less set. I think that as much as they are trying to impose this absurd "new canon", there are too many fans who are deep into the EU and there is a big enough EU merchandise niche. My point is that it makes more sense for LucasFilms to explore gaps in the timeline and make subtle canon changes rather than continue discarding large parts of the EU (like with the mandalorians and all the storylines that connect with that).

The Disney part is what scares me the most too. I don't want SW to be turned into another mindless teens' superhero BS where the main action unfolds in 2 min as the main chars stomp over everything in mere seconds, accompanied by countless "deep conversations" about the life, universe and ****.

So Jonathan Rinzler The author of the Making of Books for the OT, said that George Lucas told him in multiple meetings that Boba Fett survived/escaped the Sarlaac Pit in his universe.

This is obviously the same way the EU went, glad to see Lucas felt the same way, hopefully this means we'll see him in VII.

I'm sure how Fett was handled in ROTJ was one of George's biggest regrets and I guess that'll be fixed soon. I have no doubts at all that he'll be alive. I mean, if he approved Darth Maul being brought back, Fett should just hop out that Sarlaac Pit with nothing more than a splinter from Jabba's sail barge exploding above him :lol

Boba Fett's reemergence in the EU is one of my biggest hopes they get right.

His storyline 20 years after Endor was outstanding, not to even mention how he and Jaina joined up. :smokin

And the Mando's parked outside the Jedi Temple is something I would cry watching if put on screen properly. Straight up, flat out, chick watchin the Notebook cry.

Sobbing, in fact. Half a box of tissue, with ease. Judge me, I don't care. :lol

True about Darth Maul :lol Apparently Lucas killed off Fett with an off handed comment/idea too :{
The story of how Boba Fett ended being tossed into the Sarlaac is one of the great behind the scenes stories of Return of the Jedi. Lucas was going through his nasty divorce at the time, and they asked him what they should do with Boba Fett during the big Sail Barge battle. Frustrated with non-Star Wars things, Lucas told them to just toss him in the pit. And the rest is Star Wars history.

When thinking about the Fett movie I always thought of it being between episodes 3 & 4. But if Fett is confirmed as being alive now, mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn a movie taking place after RoTJ :smokin

I'd cry too C CP1708 :lol I'm praying whoever the Sith Lord is in this movie he uses Mandos against the Luke and who/whatever the good government is :lol.

Another noob question here. I thought Luke killed of the sith after Rotj?

Same as how we were told that Anakin and Palpatine killed the Jedi, but yet in every game, book, comic, etc, there's a new Jedi out and about.

Same here.

Luke killed the "last two" Sith (well, technically Vader died on his own, but you get the idea) but the galaxy is a rather large place. There are plenty of places for unknown threats to reside.

Just as there were random Jedi still roaming the galaxy, there are random Sith out there as well.

Yes. He is basically a few years older than Luke.

He was 12-13 yrs old in Clone Wars, RotS was 5 years after and that's when Luke was born so he's about 18 years older.

Just to further show my geekness, ANH was 20 years after RotS, ROTJ was 4 years after so he's about 42 when he falls in the Sarlaac. So Kane is right that he'd be about 60+ by the time the new trilogy comes out so I'm sure they'll shoe in some kids for him as well. *nerd glasses off* 8o

20 years apart so many stories :{ :{ and we won't see them with are actual eyes :{ only can imagine them when we read them :{

Who knows we might, that's what the spinoffs are for.

While it's fun to speculate, I do see where Disney may be hesitant to jump around the timelines, as far as the SW cinematic universe is concerned. But then again, they did fit in The First Avenger nicely in the MCU. Hindsight will always be 20/20 and I can't wait to see what they actually end up doing.

I really don't think the spinoffs will have any connection to the Sequel trilogy, I'm pretty sure they've said exactly that too.

They aren't following the Marvel model. The spinoffs would be easier to believe if the movies take place in separate time periods rather than taking place during 7-9 if that's the case.

From what I've read online, the Fett movie will likely take place either right after ROTS, or right after RoTJ, or it could combine both 8o

Have them do a long zoom over a desert... as you get closer you start to notice something is weird about the ground. As you get closer to the ground, you notice its the Sarlacc Pit, Jump scare have his hand come out of it.

I forgot who said that in this thread but that's the Teaser trailer and opening moments of the movie

He has a daughter.

And a granddaughter.

;)

I was hype when Anakin came to speak with Leia in one of the early books. Really loved the idea of that interaction.

Luke was all jealous. :{ :lol Pansy Jedi and their feelings. :lol

See that's why I wouldn't be mad at Hayden Christensen being in the ST for a little bit. Seeing Anakin have a conversation with Luke, Leia, or one of his grandchildren would be incredible.

I'm really starting to believe Darth Bane will be the main villain for the ST. I don't see them bringing back Sidious,
and they've already introduced Bane in the Clone Wars for the fans who want more info on him.

He fits the rumored 'ancient fear' title nice.
