the body fortress whey isolate supplement from wal-mart has a great profile and is relatively cheap. great bang for your buck IMO.


 EDIT: It also tastes great in both the vanilla and chocolate flavors.
I agree that it has a great profile but I can't get over the taste.

I really envy those who are able to eat/drink anything because they'd be saving a whole lot of money by buying Body Fortress.
 
Cooked up some great stuff today since I didn't go to the gym. Just been in the kitchen and the chillen watching bball all day.

I have a bodyspace account on BB.com and you subscribe to the workout and it will automatically sync with your calendar through iCloud. Kind of hard to explain but if you have an account on there it's easy. Or your can print out the 12 week plan.

I agree. I hate the way bodybuilding today looks. I went into a mom and pop vitamin shop and there are OG pics of old school body builders on the wall and it was soooo icy!

For those still doing IF, keep going! I had to stop for personal reasons and already miss it. haha. Being that lean through out the day was awesome!

Played a couple hours of flag football this afternoon but gonna head in for an arms session in a bit because school started and i won't get out of class until 8:15 tomorrow.

Also, will be releasing 3 videos this week for those interested.

went rock climbing today, seemed like a pretty solid workout. had my forearms aching when i was done
 
I know iLLest isn't IF'ing but, is anybody still Intermittent Fasting? I'm going on Week 4 and going strong. if it matters, i'm 5'7" at 146lbs. I started on Jan 6 at 152lbs. I'm trying to get to that Dominick Cruz status at 135-140lbs.

Truth is Cruz is nowhere near 135 in reality. 90% of fighters are cutting weight DRASTICALLY before a weigh-in. The majority cut 20-25lbs of water weight on the ufc level. Sometimes more. Rumble johnson was like 220-225 and cutting to 185 at one point in time. So really Cruz is around 160.

1 serving ground chicken, 4 whites. Cinnamon roll myo to the left, water in my shaker. Felt awesome being back in the kitchen. My gf has my waffle maker so I made all of LeanBodyLifestyle's recipe in a cake :lol
 
anybody try the new bioforge v3? i tried v1 hella back and it worked for me. some nice improvements and gains. v2 wasn't as noticeably good, but wondering if it V3s worth the money.

have tried APE and couldn't really notice great improvement in lifts.

any new stuff in the market?
 
Just bought ON whey protein, this is the best tasting protein ive ever had. Wish you guys would've told me about it earlier.
 
I remember guys in here talking how good myofusion was so I picked up a tub the other day. I had been drinking ON for months and I was overall pretty happy with the taste. But then I tried the myo....

If I don't drink my protein shake 30-45 after my workout is it useless to take?

Like would two hours later be too late or should I still take it anyway?
 

How's the DTP going so far?

*Freezing rain this morning and I couldn't get out on my run....decided to go to the gym instead to lift. Did Chest/Back (DTP) today and I was DEAD and felt like puking 1/2 through my last set. GOT IT DONE.

Actually I ended up deciding to do the 12 week trainer half way through day one :lol , and It's kicking my *** !

Today was day 4. My DL/BB rows are so embarrassing, I can't lift for ****. I went hard and as heavy as I could throughout the whole routine, i'm still SORE from leg day haha

I'm determined to see this through. I love that feel afterward :hat

Freezing rain in Baltimore today, still got my *** up to lift.

Went hard in the gym to the point that my legs started shaking when I was doing dips. Did some leg press today even though I usually just do Squats for my Workout B. Knees to chest, knees to chest.

Was going to go out and buy food again, but I decided to sit in the kitchen and cook instead.

As for protein, I'm an ON fanatic. It's worked for me for almost a year now, and it's cheap. I can get 10 lbs of it on ebay for anywhere from $88-92. Depends on whether I want the bag or tubs.

Have a good day and go hard, fit fam :hat.

Still take it anyways, 100% ALWAYS

It's always good to get it in within the 30-60 minutes of leaving but not getting it in at all is a horrible mistake,

Just hit your macros for the day and you'll be good no matter what time you take it

12 week trainer looks INTENSE. I'm starting that week after next. Keep us updated as to how it's going.

I can't be the only one that puts a scoop in a shaker bottle, then bring it to the gym, right? Just add water when you leave, and drink it while you're in the car.
