How do yall prepare your sweet potatoes?

I've just been microwaving them and melting a little butter on em - sometimes cinnamon on top if I'm feeling adventurous, but I'm looking to branch out.
 
A co-worker sent me a sweet potato hummus recipe today. I'll post it up tomorrow when I get back into the office and access my work email.

Otherwise, I either bake em up or make oven sweet potato fries. Slice em up thin, skin on. Ms. Dash (or a bunch of dried herbs), red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, bit of olive oil, toss em all together and lay it on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Bake at 400º until browned.

sweet potato looks and tastes :x i bought the fires and made them in the oven and they were like wet and weird. they smelled good

i just wanted to try them and maybe start eating baked sweet potatoes but meh

Man, you had to buy the wrong ones are had to many on the baking sheet. Cause usually their :smokin. And I'm definitely gonna try sneakerfan recipe.

Bake 'em brah. That's the easiest thing.

When I make sweet potater fries I mix it with olive oil, sea salt, and pepper. I put them on a baking sheet spaced apart so none of them are touching and bake it until it looks crispy. Can't have them too hard and break your teeth like MisterP though.
 
Used the nutribullet to make a little protein snack

1 scoop of  chocolate casein powder (it's impossible to mix this in a regular shake cup)
approx 8-10oz of milk
handful of frozen strawberries
Thick like soft serve ice cream

I think I found my new go- to snack for those cravings.


 
Be careful. Im concerned youre gonna knock your drink over and ruin your couch.

chicken breast (A LOT)
beef/steak
whole wheat bread
almond butter
jelly
eggs
almond milk
raw oats (for oatmeal with the milk)
oj
beets
carrots (blend both of these for beet juice. delicious, and im a picky eater so that says a lot coming from me)
string beans
broccoli
salmon
tilapia
strawberries
grapes
oranges

thats some of the things i buy when i shop every week

Lean Beef
Nuts
Whole Grain Pasta
Brown Rice
Any fruit
Any vegetable
Good seasonings (keep low in sodium)


At the end of the day those are my basics and you can prepare them in a million different ways to taste pretty good.

I've never put up anything over 230 before.

had been on a super duper low carb diet, and recently added carbs (PROATS and yams) to my diet, and man do i feel the difference, my lifts have gone up so much. i love it!

Its crazy how lean you get when you just start eating healthy man. I just cut out junk foods, sugar snacks that I'd eat not even alot but here and there and boom.

So hard to stay that way though lol
 
Personally, id give up a % of 2 if it means I can eat less than healthy foods and still enjoy them.

I have 0 desire to be 8% bodyfat.

How do you like LC? I dig it (keto), but i've been craving pancakes my GF orders when they're in my face :lol :{ :(
