gator kings nice
Yes sir - LeBron 11 Gator Kings. These are pretty nice, glad I was able to find them for retail. I had a size 10 in my cart twice when these released, forgetting both times that I wear a 10.5 in LBJ 11s. Patience paid off this time...

I've seen that Houston ASG tee shirt at a few Ross stores lately.

Did you try them on yet? The toe box is a little roomier. I actually ended up wearing one of the 10's I had instead of the 10.5. I will say they got more looks than any sneaker I've ever worn.

Did you get your no sleeps from hibasketball?

No, I haven't tried the Gator Kings on yet - I'm gonna be moving next week so I just cracked open the box, looked them over, and put them right back in the shipping box. Now you got me worried though!

I got my TNS from Peak Sneakers before they jacked up the price to $240 or whatever it is now...

I wouldn't worry too much. The 10.5 felt very similar to my pre xmas xi's. So if you have the tw's in a 10.5 you probably won't notice a difference. I didn't until I put the 10 on and it felt ok. After 10 minutes they were broke in and felt great.

I really want those tns but the prices now are insane. I really don't want to go over 200 for any wow's but I may have to for those.

Cool, that's good news, because I had a 10 and a 10.5 in the TWs and definitely needed the 10.5.

On to today's wear - haven't broken these out in a while...

skep skep Haha, definitely not for everyone. I love them!

shaw333 shaw333 Thanks man, I forget how nice these are. My wife likes them so much she made me get her a pair!

Social status downtown has an 11 in the ajko rivalry pack but you have to but 200 in merchandise to be able to purchase.

The Carolina pair had me weak. Would have bought if it wasn't for the 200 in merchandise

That's so damn stupid, I don't understand how they get away with that shxt. Glad I can say I've never set foot in their store and I'm glad their convention last weekend was a flop

so are sneaker conventions the new lic now. theres one every other weekend now, couldnt even go to the one last saturday. theres one on the 13th and the 20th. this city aint bout that sneaker life like that. everyone should hold off until the summer or it will more than likely flop.

Belly.. apparently it is one people saw the money that Sean made. It isn't that easy. You saw the last one you ran into me at wasn't shxt and the one last weekend was weak as fxck from what I heard from many... well not that many went but my boy said there was like 6 vendors lol.
I'm anticipating the next one to be decent. The guy putting it together is a hustler, he's been promoting it like crazy. I'll be at that one and at the next refreshpgh and that's it

you mean the ihatekicks guy? yea ive been seeing him go crazy with promo the last few months. he doing his thing but personally i think im good on sneaker shows in Pittsburgh. ive seen already seen, had, or have most of the kicks Pittsburgh has to offer.

Yeah him. I will continue to support the local events as long as they are good ones, to help out the local sneaker community. It's nothing like it was in Florida but it's still decent

Ive been to sneaker events in NYC, Philly, Baltimore, Boston, DC and more. The biggest event was definitely Sneakercon DC last year - however, our Sneaker Expo in January was packed with people and full of heat. I would put our last event right up there with the other events I've been to. Please don't base your opinion on sneaker shows in Pittsburgh on the Central Catholic event (flyer you promo'd the other day). While that event didn't go over too well, one of the guys who threw it, Reggie, is a good dude. Refresh has a big following locally and on social media and we put months of 8+ hour days into our events. Our next event will be in May, if you want to see a real Pittsburgh sneaker event come thru. Here's a recap from our last event in January:

I didn't even go to the event I posted. Homie just asked to post it for him. I was just saying there's an event every weekend now and it's getting ridiculous. Pittsburgh needs just one big event every 4 months or so. Not 5 in like a months span. Now I'm aware of your event and was about to go last time but your venue was just too small for the crowd that it drew. I don't like being jammed up. But Me personally I'm just not into seeing the same shoes over and over again so I probably won't be attending any sneaker shows in the near future.

I feel you on that, definitely over saturating everything with so many in a short time,
