very similar to those releases... I'm not a leather expert but they seem to be on par if not better. definitely better than the Obsidian and Playoff that dropped most recently. Will try them on to let you guys know.

Good to hear. I actually liked last year's Playoff XII's overall but as others have mentioned those are the 1 retro I wish I actually sized .5 down on. Based on what others have so far, seems that the Taxis are no different...

As long as you have a very strong, fast and consistent internet connection you should be good. If I were you, I'd open up a few tabs 10 minutes beforehand with all the sites carrying the shoe and sign in (if you haven't created an account including your current billing and shipping information saved with footlocker.com, finishline.com, champssports.com, and nike.com I'd do so ASAP) that way you just click on the shoe you want with the size you want and you get a quick checkout on as many sites as possible to better your chances at getting the shoe. Now, if you already got the shoe and checked out on one them you shouldn't checkout on the rest unless you have the money and plan on getting a few lol.

Went to the mall 20 minutes after it was open and fnl ftl n champs were out of tickets smfh. Woulda been there early but I walked in at about 2 O clock and got a ticket for the steels. I think so man. I'm an 11.5 in almost everything, and have a sz 12 in some XIIs and they are a little too big to the point that they hurt my feet when I ball.

Thanks. I have Cherrys n CDP Taxis in 12 but they're a touch on the loose side. 11.5 fits snug but holds foot better and less creasing.

As has already been stated, these should be an EXTREMELY easy pair to get as long as you at least try to get them.

Guys taking preorders on ebay for ~$230 at the moment = there will be an abundance of pairs available.

I see where some say these should be a easy cop but here in Cincy, we have a fair amount of raffles and 1st come 1st serve. One of the champs here CLAIM to have only gotten 24 pair. They just dont seem to be as widely available as some lead to believe.

The hype is big here in Houston for this release. All the Champs Sports doing guaranteed tickets had big lines. Online or bust for me in this release. I knew Gamma XIs will be super hyped but I didn't expect this one to be this hyped.

Was able to secure a pair for Saturday, thankfully. However, it's a size 9 and normally I wear an 8.5. Hopefully, all of the talk about these running big is subjective.
