I wear mine and then I cant take them off so they are ran into the ground. thats the only time i double up

All the shoes in the picture are DS. They will eventually be worn and decreasing or increasing in value doesn't matter to me cause I don't plan on selling any of them.
Steve- You better being paying your storage bill or someone on Storage Wars in gonna come up good.

It's good to hear you wear some of your stuff 8tothe24.. and damn your collection must be huge.
I really think its important to wear just some of your stuff. Personally, I have been keeping a lot of my recent pick ups DS. The only time I won't wear something is if I don't think it can be replaced. I get pretty excited when I buy pairs worn once knowing that the hard part has already been decided
. Although my purple highs are worn once, I doubt i'll be wearing them unless I attend some sneaker event here in NYC.

EXACTLY! Shoes are worth what the buyer is willing to spend... nothing more. I as well don't plan on selling any of mine and I see them as a life time worth of enjoyment. You would not believe the number of older cats wearing OG AF1s I have seen, most of them probably have been wearing AF1s long before most of NT was born.

My question had nothing to do with selling. I just know people won't wear older Jordans because they are steadily increasing in value and don't want to change that by wearing them. Not because they plan to sell them, but because wearing them is not worth the effect it has on their individual value. I myself am the type of personal who can find enjoyment in staring at DS pairs placed nicely in their boxes.

Yeah Alex, I never thought i'd find a pair of navy/red jewels then that cat unloads 5+ pairs on ebay. Stuffs out there. When I say can't be replaced, I'm talking about waiting a few years for another pair to come around. I recently passed a 9.5 black/red jewel mid because I have an 8.5 and had other interests. Now i'm regretting and confident another 9.5 won't come by for a while.

i think there are a lot of collectors here where the value of the shoe isn't exactly directly influenced by market prices. i don't think of cash value of the shoes i have, and i'm never planning on selling any of my favourites. i dont think there's a single shoe that can't be replaced with enough patience/cash

so you wear an 8.5... you are willing to buy size 9.5... and you have been trying to get size 10 and 10.5 shoes off of me - is your foot expandable? or are you trying to collect FSR's? not trying to knock your style of collecting at all - just a bit confused, i guess. i never saw the point of owning a shoe that my foot could not fit inside - but to each his own. i'll leave a couple of (resized, especially for you) pics while i'm on here (m0rr0winc = old ebay alias):
