as posted by "mrmadison", Discovery Mills Nike Store has the blue/black structures for $42. not sure of sizes, but I thought you guys mightappreciate that. of course you can try the nikefind thing for free shipping. if you want to try it legitimately, you can call your local nike store, ask ifthey have the structures using the style number and color cod,e and when they say no, ask them to look in Nikefind to see if any other stores have them. ifthey come up that way, you know it's legit and you shoudl be able to get free shipping.

well, I got these 87's used off ebay and the outsole was peeling off at the toe, and I slapped a little gorilla glue in there and pressed the rubber backto the shoe for about 5 minutes and they look good as new and they haven't come undone after a good 10 wears or so. i figure if it's strong enough tohold the rubber to the suede, it might be strong enough to fuse a midsole back together. might be worth a try! I haven't heard of anybody really mentioninggorilla glue in terms of sneaker restoration, but you never know...

Ive used gorilla glue...kinda dont like it. It works great, but it dries up yellow/white, and expands as it dries. So if you put too much it will seep out andshow.

Ive heard shoo goo works better and dries clear.

Also might want to hit up Home Depot/Lowes/Target/WalMart and see what kind of adhesives/sealants they have that works on rubber.

sad to see those yellow streak's going, but i know gorilla glue has saved a few of my shoes in the past. best separation fixer imo. glue stains are justsomething i've learned to live with, it's more than worth the added quality over recent shoe releases. i'm trying to step up my am knowledge, the2003 infrared's were a straight retro release right? what everyone would be referring to as "pre-HOA"?

yeah that's not a bad idea, hitting up home depot. those folks usually have some good ideas. it would have to adhere foam and rubber though, so that mightget tricky. i think the trick with the GG is that you have to only put a little bit on. it does dry kinda yellow or tan. on a dark midsole, however, if appliedcarefully, I think it could work.
