THANK YOU GSWARRIORS FOR AN AMAZING YEAR...CONGRATULTIONS CLEVELAND CAVALIERS.

3rd quarter was weak in the offense. Overall they played bad defense too allow that many points as well.
Curry and Klay actually shot 50% and above.
Liliard scored 51 pts for Portland...

it's that time of the season where I for sure don't wanna hear draymond talk about how scary good we could be if we clean things up. that time is now.

Getting that lead after the 1st was key, set a defensive tone and did not put too much pressure on Speights to defend the paint.

Dont care what the final score was, this game was not competitive at all.

Real nice bounce back from last nights s***show.

I know the depth of this team is a factor, but why is Jason Thompson non existent? dude plays much better defense than mo speights and plays rebounds better, as well.

Report: Warriors favorites to sign ex-Cavs center Anderson Varejao

It looks like former Cleveland Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao could be joining another championship contender.

After spending his entire career with the Cavs, Varejao was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday in a three-team deal that sent Channing Frye to Cleveland. The Blazers promptly waived Varejao and once he clears waivers on Sunday, ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the energetic Brazilian big man will be signing with the Golden State Warriors.

League sources told ESPN.com that Varejao is leaning strongly toward joining the Warriors after he clears waivers Sunday at 5 p.m.

Sources say that the veteran big man, who spent the first 11 1/2 seasons of his career with the Cavaliers until being traded Thursday, has narrowed his choices down to Golden State and San Antonio after also attracting offers from, among others, Oklahoma City, Atlanta and the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Warriors will need to open up a roster spot to sign Varejao and Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News believes that Golden State will do this by releasing reserve big man Jason Thompson.

While Golden State doesn't truly need Varejao, the Warriors could use some depth at the center position. Especially since, Festus Ezeli is recovering from knee surgery and Andrew Bogut is dealing with an Achilles injury.

If he does sign with Golden State, Varejao's energy and versatility should fit in perfectly with the Warriors. It will also be a reunion of sorts for Varejao as well since fellow countryman Leandro Barbosa is on the roster, and he also used to play with assistant coach Luke Walton in Cleveland.
