You can look at it to 2 ways

1. It was harder to win back in Oscar's day because theres less teams therefore each time is more stacked

2. There are more teams now in the NBA, so teams are less stacked therefore an a great individual players hold more value

I dont know man, I didnt bring up the water down talk either way.....thats your argument




All you can do is judge players how they dominated their era relative to how other great players dominated their respective eras

It's just comical to me when people will bash someone for being a "perennial loser" and then have someone who's never won a Championship in their Top 3.

Also, Paul is 30, Stockton's career is over.

Stockton had Malone.  CP started his early years on a rebuild franchise.  But now CP has BLAKE and a bunch of talents year in and year out to help lessen the 'burden'.

STILL, this is why STOCKTON owns them all.

If as a fan, you are given a choice of having your team lose in 1st round or the Conference Finals

Im pretty sure most rational and logic fans would pick the Conference Finals
