I haven't seen that much of it, but what I have seen of him hasn't been that impressive. Good shot blocking presence, but not much else. Right now I'm seeing his ceiling as mentally stable Larry Sanders-type.

You're talking about a bunch of stuff that happened after the fact which is why you don't get what my point is. I'm comparing both situations leading into the offseason while you're over here talking about Randle & his injury :{

:lol

I talked about the differences. Melo >>>> Injured Kobe. Top 4 pick >>> Pick 7. Phil Jackson/DFish > No coach.

So what's your point exactly?

Kevin Love is leaving. IDC what anyone says. Putting most of my eggs into the Kevin Love Spurs basket.

Has the whole "going home" thing ever work out for anyone?

worked out as far as? winning chips? or just enjoying life?

you'll see when we get Westbrook in a year.[/quote]

I meant winning, good teams, deep runs into the playoffs maybe a championship. I can only think of Melo and LeBron right now. All others opted not to return to their town

Is Melo currently 100% healthy? Heading into this offseason, won't it be "injured Melo?"

How do you know that Top 4 pick is going to be better than Randle? ">>>>>>>>" doesn't = facts. And again, please name me these game changing players coming out in this years draft.

As of right now, I'm not even sure if I can say being under Phil/Fisher is that much better than Byron/Mitch/Buss.

Point I'm making is the Knicks current situation isn't that much better than the Lakers situation last season heading into free agency. Pretty simple.

Randle would have been a Top 4 pick in this draft.

And Phil Jackson is not the coach.

And again. Non-injured Melo led the Knicks to a 5-32 record.

And if that's not an indictment on Fisher as well.... Don't know what to tell you.

Still trying to wrap my mind around OKC going and getting Waiters and keeping Jackson. It's clearly panic time in Thunderland. Like...I really can't believe Reggie, Russy, and Dion are on the same roster

Stephen A. said, "OKC wanted some 'East Coast toughness'...."

whatever the hell that means...
