Still trying to wrap my mind around OKC going and getting Waiters and keeping Jackson. It's clearly panic time in Thunderland. Like...I really can't believe Reggie, Russy, and Dion are on the same roster

Is Melo currently 100% healthy? Heading into this offseason, won't it be "injured Melo?"

How do you know that Top 4 pick is going to be better than Randle? ">>>>>>>>" doesn't = facts. And again, please name me these game changing players coming out in this years draft.

As of right now, I'm not even sure if I can say being under Phil/Fisher is that much better than Byron/Mitch/Buss.

Point I'm making is the Knicks current situation isn't that much better than the Lakers situation last season heading into free agency. Pretty simple.

Value wise... Carmelo Anthony during the summer will have WAY more value than Kobe coming off a torn achilles. A sore knee is nothing like what Kobe went through. Kobe is coming back from one of the worst injuries out there. I don't know how this is even debatable. If you want facts, look at Melo's numbers this year + last year vs. Kobe this year + last year. Then consider that Kobe is one of the worst defenders on the planet right now.

You're talking about the situation heading into the offseason right? How are you going to debate that a minimum top 4 pick is worse than the 7th pick? There was no Randle yet. Knicks have a slim chance of not being in the top 3. Lakers had virtually no chance of being in the top 3. Huge difference.

Same thing with the coaching. Lakers had no coach. They just fired D'Antoni. So how is that point debatable? Phil atleast commands respect around the league. Going into the offseason, Lakers had no coach to sell or no system to guide their draft.

Randle would have been a Top 4 pick in this draft.

And Phil Jackson is not the coach.

And again. Non-injured Melo led the Knicks to a 5-32 record.

And if that's not an indictment on Fisher as well.... Don't know what to tell you.

Not gonna go back and forth with you too but I already told the guy that the Lakers were in a good position heading into last offseason. Everything just went wrong. Randle got hurt. Byron Scott was hired. Lakers struck out on all FAs. If Randle was healthy and looking like a blue chip prospect, Lakers would be looking a lot better for the future. They'd catch less heat. All I said was the Knicks were in a better position. It doesn't mean it's going to work out or they're winning a chip next year.

I think Dion will be more likely to submit to Alpha Russ & Beta KD way more than he was willingly to submit to Hot Sauce who he viewed as being inferior to him

thats the point he thought he was better than hot sauce so of course he wouldnt bow to him but will to kd & russ cuz they are clearly better & he can be deadly in OKC with his head screwed on right

Drummond getting 15/15 on 62% with about 2 blocks and 2 steals in 30 minutes per. :x

I remember the doubters in here. 8o

Cavs coulda had him over Waiters. 8o

I don't get how a guy that came off the bench in college can have a big ego like Waiters does. He shoulda been humble from the start.
