NBA star Paul Pierce accused of wrecking former Tribeca apartment, then leaving without notice
NBA hoopster Paul Pierce is being accused of tearing up the hardwood — in his former Tribeca pad.

The owners of a huge condo at 90 Franklin St. are charging in a Manhattan Supreme Court suit that the ex-Brooklyn Nets player left the place wrecked and with a gaudy pink carpet.

“(They) left the apartment in shambles, converting some of the items ... to their personal gain and ... ripping out carpeting, wooden floors ... a washer and dryer and an expensive and unique stone hearth from the fireplace,” read court papers filed by Rejeev Tewari and Anuragini Pandey.

The irate owners, who live in Singapore, claim Pierce and his wife cleared out of the $32,000-a-month condo without notice, stiffing them on the last year of a two-year lease.

Pierce and his wife, Julie, signed the lease on the swanky pad in 2013 when he signed a $15 million deal with the Nets.

But the former Boston Celtics star left Brooklyn after a choppy season and moved on to the Washington Wizards for a reduced salary of $5 million a year.

Maybe Pierce should have hired his Tribeca neighbor Bob Vila of “This Old House” fame to remodel the digs because the condo owners say whomever he hired to do the job left it looking like it was trashed by wrecking ball.

The only thing left in place of the original wooden floors in all four bedrooms was a pink carpet, the papers said.

Tewari and Pandey claim it took them five months to replace the floors, fix cabinet doors in the kitchen and two baths, replace a broken frosted glass door between the living room and fireplace room and clean solid wooden floors in the five bathrooms.

When they finally rented it, they said, they could only get $23,500 a month in rent. Pierce was supposed to pay $32,500 a month the second year the second year of his lease.

The owners said that the lost rent and repairs cost them $225,500.

Pierce could not be reached for comment. His wife and his agent did not return a phone message.
