I have twin daughters plus one younger...don't think my girls would have the audacity to tell me. That's what loser girls with no skills do...feel like I'm raisin em better then that...
That's sad, that you think so shamefully of sex & sexuality, yet enjoy it so much (obviously, I'm assuming you do enjoy it.)

It all goes back to how shameful people make sex out to be.

Irresponsible sex is dangerous.

Forced sex is repulsive.

But responsible sex decisions made with a conscious mind and safety precautions in place? Even if it's a decision I wouldn't make, I've got no criticism of that.

I dont see how watching porn as entertainment & not letting your daughter be a stripper hypocritical

But if stripping or selling p is the only hustle to think of as a form of income shows me i failed as a father

exactly... stripping & selling box wont ever cross my childrens minds as a form of generating income... im rasing them a lot better than that... also a LOT of strippers have a lack of father figure which sometimes leads them to stripping& selling the box for $$$ but thats a whole different convo

"Be safe."

Or I could be a hypocrite and act like I don't have a porn collection.

- "I'm so ashamed. That's so distasteful."
- "Ummmmm, Dad, I know exactly where your porn is, and exactly what your favorite sites are. Tell me more about how you hate my life choice."
- "Nah, cuz see... I'm saying..."

Screw that.

Be real.

"Be safe. Make safe decisions. Don't be unsafe. Know this: you never have to make a desperate decision. If you're doing this because it sounds exciting and it's what you want to do, I support that. But if you're doing it because you think you have to and you have no other choice, that's not true. We can figure something else out if you don't really want to do this but feel like you have to. But if you actually want to, hey... I love you."

I know there are probably like 4 people on NT who can dig that, and probably like 2% of the country would agree (even though a strong percentage would CLAIM to be repulsed despite having porn stashes... but that's an entirely different topic).
+1

that's exactly what it comes down to  --- being responsible vs being irresponsible

too many people have the mind set that sexual women are all thots

you said it perfectly -- make safe decisions

I gave my sister a verbal BEATDOWN when I found out through a friend she was stripping like 15 years ago. She did it for like a year, and I avoided her so hard the whole time, guilted the HELL out of her. She'd call. "What? Got a real job yet?"

Obviously, I disagree with that perspective now, which is why I no longer feel that way, and last year, I apologized to her.

I definitely understand where you're coming from. Just feel like I've grown out of it.

this man knows
Cats out here want their daughters to become strippers and find nothing wrong with that. What kind of backwards **** is that.
'Want'?

Clearly we have different definitions of the word 'want'.

No one had said anything close to, 'I want my daughter to strip.'

'Support'? Sure. I also support women leaving the kitchen once in a while, too, though. And driving.

I'm all for people making their own safe, responsible decisions, though... even if it's absolutely not a decision I would make myself.

Lol wut....

where did prostitution come from? I think you equating the two is the problem....  you're looking at all sexual professions done by women as the same thing

you call stripping shameful, but do you have these same feelings towards businessmen who making a living selling death?  ie: the tobacco industry?

yes, NT, i know the two professions are different... the point is this moral high ground **** y'all on

but u not going to prevent? if u not against it, u are supporting it. come now, kids cant be left in neutral. and for them to.have to pursue that route is a reflection of not only them but the parents.

As a parent all you can do is your best and hope for the best but your child is going to be who they are weather you want it or not.
That's 2.

we were doing so well today actually talking about basketball...then we relapsed :smh:

Pretty much dough, unless something fresh comes out. Other wise it's the same Harden / Curry stuff, IF THEN PLAYOFFS today, first round predictions like it's an IN thing, PG talk, ROSE slander, xyz slander. etc. League's been boring for this last stretch.. lol

If you're not against it, you're with it" is black & white, all or nothing thinking. Very shortsighted.

And fur then to feel like they 'have to' pursue ANY route is a reflection of poor parenting. Take something seemingly innocent and arbitrary: sports. If my daughter felt like she HAD to be a basketball player, like it HAS to be basketball, or nothing... I failed.

if it makes the girl (or guy
nerd.gif
) happy then i dont have the right to tell them they're wrong. also, semi related but prostitution should be legalised
