Top 5 player and system player are equally ridiculous statements when describing Kawhi. If we even pretend that a system player is a thing then kawhi may just be the antithesis. His greatest strengths would translate to any system.

It's funny how nobody watches the Spurs on nt because of boredom, but somehow know kawhi's game...right.

Also system player might be the dumbest concept in sports. As if playing to your strengths is a bad thing. I just realized lebron james is a system player. If you put him in the korver role on the hawks he wouldn't cook like korver. I can't believe that fraud ever won mvps.

System Player may not be the right word, but Kawhi benefits greatly from playing with the Spurs. With that being said, he can fit anywhere, and he can create his own offense Cuz he picks his spots so well. But if he's the focal point and #1 option on your team...you won't see the same success the Spurs have enjoyed the last 16 years.

Kawhi a Gordon Hayward, Klay Thompson level star. Don't know how anybody could hate on dude.

The Spurs benefit from Kawhi's play. Before drafting him the Spurs were lost. Losing to the Suns in a sweep, getting beat by an 8th seed. Everything was looking bad.

Kawhi saved us.
