I think you're missing the point. The NBA logos always had basketballs in them. That's fine and dandy. But why the circle all of the sudden? It's just like how all lots of the new colour schemes became red white and blue a couple of years back. It's those ridiculous trends I don't get.

Cause he's a really good coach that ran a pro style offense in college, got the most out of players, had Royce White of all people playing hard and consistently + was an NBA player for a long time with a large network in the league.

He may have also been paid more. Don't know exactly. But I know for sure he has never been the highest paid on the team. And next season bosh is gonna make 20+. Dragic could possibly be making 20+ and looking forward Whiteside might force a big contract.
