Forgot that Ross put Faried's soul in the rim last year. :x

Need dude to put it all together, he's still only 23.

Also, Anthony Davis is definitely putting up basically 25 and 13 while getting you 2 steals and 4 blocks with a 35 PER at 21 years old.

Craziest thing about the Pelicans however?

Tyreke Evans shooting the lights out from 3 at 47% on about 4 attempts a night while getting you 8 rebounds and 6 assists, he's got everything right now.

I'd like to think otherwise, but those stays from Tyreke likely aren't sustainable through the whole season, especially the 3 point shooting. If he can settle back at around 18-5-5 this season, it will be good news for the Pels.

Man I love their dynamic. When they do **** like this it's hilarioussss

The comebacks from Ralph after Mike Smith has said something that's totally off the wall >>>

And Smith may be a homer a lot of the time, but he is also regularly critical of the team when they're no playing well. He often calls out Blake for settling for jumpers, CP for not being aggressive enough and just the offense in general for not having enough variation and movement.

I always thought Tyreke had a half decent catch and shoot shot from deep... It ms just once he puts the ball on the ground and shoots of the bounce, then it all goes to hell

You know what's going to be weird, OKC battling to get back into the playoff race, get the 7th or 8th seed and we're gonna get OKC/Spurs first round matchup
laugh.gif
Not only is it going to be a terrible matchup for either the 1 or 2 seed (Congrats you finished at the top of the West, now go play OKC in round 1

)

But it's also gonna suck for the team they boot out. There is going to be a team that hangs around in the bottom of the west playoff race all year and the OKC might storm back and knock them out at the end of the season

Why are we so stuck on player predictions as sports fans?

Just let the **** play out. Nobody thought MJ would be the goat...so why do we keep trying to predict **** like this?

do you think he has potential to be better than julius randle?

Does he have the potential to be better than Julius Randle? I don't know man, that's a tough one. Julius Randle already has the athleticism of a prime blake griffin and the girth and power of Charles Barkley.

I agree. Media is getting so damn out of hand with Davis. Just let the dude flourish and see what he turns out to be, no need to shove it down everyones throats that he's the "Next Superstar"

it's like every NBA analyst/writer was told to use the phrase "Anthony Davis is the next superstar" at least once per day.

because people like to talk about things?

Internet age and 24 hour news cycle. So many "media" outlets now, they have to find ways to justify their existence. Predicting who is going to be the next big thing is an easy way to fill space and attract views, etc.

You know what it is? Anthony Davis is so good right now, and that combined with him not having virtually any exposure has NBA people racing to be the guy who introduces him to the world.

Everybody wanna be the first to say "America, the next star for the NBA that you don't know is Anthony Davis."

As a culture, we in America love youth phenoms, and even more than that we love to find those who are "next" or that the public doesn't know about.

But at this point hes better than KG was at his age

Do you know what "way" better is? At his Peak KG was a league MVP, DPoy, and an NBA champ. Not even going to mention the gaudy numbers that KG put up because even you know those.

Now do you know what kind of career AD would have to have in order to be WAY BETTER THAN KEVIN GARNETT?????

Harden has found another loophole in the rule book.

Triple Euro Step.

You get an extra step to gather so it's not a travel if you time it right.
