The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

Locke-Givony were talking about Stanley Johnson playing PF at the next level. He's 6-6, 242lbs. Might make sense, and not like he had the opportunity to give it much of a trial run with Zona's roster.

Part of the appeal of Stanley has to be the ablity to run him anywhere from SG, SF and pf.. Like he should be getting mins at all 3 spots throughout the game

Does he have quick enough feet to stay with SGs?

Even though there ain't really a ton of solid SGs currently in the league

Stan will be fine at 2/3 maybe if u wanna go small few mins at 4.

Zona did him no favors, everyone told him that from the get go. Told him just watch the Fogg tapes lol.

Interesting development heading toward Thursday night: I’m hearing the Warriors are exploring the possibility of trading UP. Target unknown.

Warriors are more than likely trying to get someone to take David Lee's contract off their hands.

They already said they are going to take care of and re sign Harrison Barnes this summer.

39 No. 1 overall draft picks since the merger. 32 of them have played with at least one of the others.

I still think the best course of action for the Warriors would be to pair Lee and #30 to the Warriors for #47 (Sixers are rumored to swap #35/37 to the Blazers for #23). The cost savings is too much to ignore, I think.

Then Lee can get bought-out and go somewhere else.

Draft Winslow or Hezonja

Let Tobias Harris do what he want and Free Moe Harkless

A Win for everybody 8)

Lyles :hat

If the Knicks make a good trade down and draft Lyles, picture me with a big ole smile on my face.

If the Knicks pick Lyles at 4 with Mudiay on the board... Yeah not so much

Those same sentiments are true about WCS as well.

If the Knicks draft Zinger picture me :rollin "**** it... Lets do it live."

I don't see the issue if the Knicks target Lyles as their guy and take him.

This isn't the NFL or a video game, trading down doesn't really work like that.

It doesn't but in this case I don't see teams in the Top 7 looking at Lyles. If he's their guy, might as well move back and collect some assets before taking him.

No need to reach for him at #4.

Patino said his pick is Russell, he also said that he would take either Okafor or Towns by flipping a coin, but interesting enough he praised WCS for his agility and defense. It came out of no where buy he said that WCS can guard a 5'11 dude without any problem and he's going to be a great defensive player .... He also mentioned the finals this year where they played small ball and said he would of have been an asset.

That's assuming they'll be able to find the right team that's motivated enough to pick their guy and make a satisfactory exchange.

Sometimes the NBA draft gets wacky and projections for certain spots don't come to fruition. It's not a cut & dry scenario.

The sentiment about Lyles is exactly how I feel about WCS. If Zinger/Mudiay/Russ is their guy at 4 and they come off the board…stick with the pick and roll with Willie. Or if they just outright prefer him. Don't try to get cute and mess around with moving.

I do hope Lakers take Russell .. **** would go crazy after that ... I just don't see how the sixer can justify picking another big man, but they will question is Okafor or Pogizinis. LoL can't wait till tomorrow.
