I've always been under the impression that if CJ McCollum was drafted as a PG....by a team that didnt have one or a emerging star.....he'd put up huge numbers and look like a fture star.
Dude was legit bummed when Portland drafted him. Knowing there was no playing time behind lillard and Matthews right away.

Bennett had no business behind selected #1 overall. Different type of expectations come with that. When you average 4 & 4 as a #1 pick, you have a short leash.
Lavine had a way better rookie season than Bennett. And he wasn't that good. Think about how bad Bennett was for 1-2 years lol.
I'm still rooting for AB. I know what I saw in college. Dude can be the next Larry Johnson if he works hard and is given the chance.

Bennett shouldn't have been #1, but putting that aside it is understandable why he was horrible his rookie year; The shoulder surgery, asthma, sleep apnea, Mike Brown playing him at SF

Gonna take some time for doc to instill the "don't dribble out the shot clock every time you touch the ball" offense but they should be fine. 15 deep, best bench in the league
