I remember the Knicks vs. Pacers games on NBC. Ewing, Starks, Miller. That was good basketball not like these boring games they call basketball today. Nobody had a one hour special to say where they were going or was all about being in the spotlight. They just went out and played.

Add Pete Rock, Gang Starr, 90's Hova > 2000's Hova, hell, even Fat Joe was good for awhile in the 90s

. Hip-Hop was so much more diverse. Like you had Snoop, Ice Cube, Wu-Tang and DMX and all them hardcore dudes on one side but you still got love for groups like Pharcyde, Hieroglyphics or A Tribe Called Quest on the other side. It was good to be a fan of hip-hop music back then, you had so many choices. It was great. 

AIM was hot back then but it's not like right now with your iChat and Facebook non-sense...yeah, it was lot more real back then. People actually buying CDs. 

NBA on NBC was hot but NBA jerseys and outfits were on fiyah 

 each teams had so much personality with like Champion and Nike and even Puma in the game. I loved that part more than anything. Now every team looks the same, can't stand it.
