They should release a pair of all blue air jordan xvi's with glow in the dark laces and a brown jumpman.

The first Jordans I ever bought with my own funds was the 7/16 CDP so I have to grab any 16 retros. I remember feeling so excited owning a classic like the hares and a newer age jordan at the same time. I worked all summer before high school started in order to save up and be able to afford them when they dropped. Wore the 16s one day and my boss asked about em. Told her about the pack but all she heard was $310 and her jaw dropped. I copped the pack mainly because I really wanted the hare 7s which are my favorite jays of all time so the 16s were more like an added bonus. I got to experience a "new age" Jordan for free because at the end of the summer I sold them and made it so my hares only cost me $150. Good times.

2001 was probably hands down one of the best if not the best release years for Jordans. I was a rookie in the game back then. Just take a look at that line up (and prices). This was the year it got so crazy that they switched release days from Wednesdays to Saturdays (Cool Grey XI madness). OGs remember

CG XI release def set it off for lineups for jordans. I remember going to work that morning of the red and blue XI lows release. I got dirty looks from the crowd like I had the shoes in my pocket

You mean in terms of cdp quality right? The og 17 were made of really good smooth leather. Especially the black/reds.View media item 1829004

Here a pic with the shrouds on them.
The black/reds had icy clear outsoles while the white/navys were milky.
It has to be mentioned that the traction of the milky outsoles were better when playing on mild dusty indoor courts.
