The College Basketball Post

Watch Wichita come out of that blood bath in the end.

Why is Louisville bandwagon so high? who have they beat besides uconn?

They have great defense/rim protection, a clear offensive leader, experience playing deep in the tournament and a HOF coach

Pretty easy to see why

Doesnt matter. That team is rolling regardless. Coming into the tourney on a roll is very important.

Edit: i sounded like magic johnson. But i dont eemm care

The AAC didn't allow them to play anyone elite since conference play started.

I can't wait for Wichita/'Ville Round 2.

I'm rooting for the Shockers to win it all as well, regardless of my bracket.

Eh, it's more that outside of the top 5 the AAC sucked and their OOC scheduling wasn't that good. You don't need to play "elite" team to build a good schedule and there really weren't many of those this year anyways.

thats why there is outta conference too. only played UK n UNC both losses, 97th SOS
If you want to rely on November/December wins/losses, go ahead. The majority of their conference was ranked in the 200s.

Unofficial final four picks...but just completedthe bracket (will go back and revise)

Florida, Iowa State, San Diego State, Wichita State

already stated it, Louisville havent played anyone
People are picking Louisville because:

A. Wichita is in their region, another team that "hasn't played anyone" and a team that they beat last year in the tourney.

B. Michigan is in their region, another team they beat last year in the tourney.

C. Duke is in their region, another team they beat last year in the tourney.

D. Only gonna potentially play 1 of B/C.

E. Louisville is the hottest team in this region and they pass the eye test in comparison.

Russ Smith is playing as well as anyone in the country and Montrezl Harrel is a man child inside. Rick Pitino is their coach.

You could say Louisville isn't as good as last year, but neither is Michigan. Duke is slightly improved (same guards, though). Wichita is still an enigma.

With that said, they could lose early...but that's why people are picking them.
