I think most initially just thought of him as another Turgeon. Safe hire that will maintain status quo. Which sucks. Not really the risk/reward type that people wanted. Everybody likes the Tony Skinn hire as well as the other names mentioned as potential assistants though.
Couple friends have met him and said he is a cool dude with good enthusiasms about the program.
