Yea. John was never going there due to his handlers. He was headed to Memphis before Cal left and that’s why he went to UK. There was conversations with Roy but he never visited. Duke couldn’t overlook the grades. State was the only triangle school that stood a legitimate chance.
What’s funny is that recruitment is somewhere in the pages of this thread

They looked good in that game against A&M right after Thanksgiving. Would have loved to have had Coleman and Radford for the entire game to see how it ended up, but they took advantage as soon as those two were both out of the game.
