The College Basketball Post

Outside of the Ivy League they’re probably the best cutting and screening team in the country. Kansas switched literally everything against them which is why they had success.

Carolina tried that early on but can only do it 1-3 and they brought Clingan up to the top which allowed for the back cuts and when they adjusted UConn made their threes.

Hubert’s plan of doubling the point of attack at the perimeter was foolish considering how good UCONN can shoot. Again, the coaching is just not there with him

Nasty work from inside the arc

UConn is too solid. Need to play close to perfect to beat them

Just wasn’t their night. Defense will get better but only so much you can hide on that end

That Withers post possession in the 2H down 6  Cadeau losing the handle twice…

every time we needed a big stop UCONN would get an easy layup.

So many possessions defended well for 20 seconds only to give up something easy late on a miscommunication

Frustrating but not too many teams operate as effectively as Uconn in the half court

Cut it to 5 with 10 mins and went 2-16 over the next 7 mins

Too many slow sets and dumping it to Bacot with no advantage

Cadeau needs to look for his shot a little more

He can. I've seen him hit a few. I just don't think he's confident in his 3-ball like Trimble was last year.

Seems like Cadeau can get to the rim nearly whenever he wants. Once he's able to finish over length consistency he'll be even better.

But not like anyone else was making a layup when we needed it lol

Good night for the ACC

Efton Reid wasting no time
If they can play defense consistently they’re gonna be tough to beat in conference once Monsanto comes back. That is if he doesn’t revert back to chucking. Hildreth/Boopie/Sallis is a tough guard trio
