So Chance said he paid to get his album on Apple, but then later he said that they paid him $500,000 and he got two commercials during the NBA finals of all events.
A lot of contradiction in his statements. Dudes aren't getting that to sign deals. And he acted like that wasn't a big deal. And having Apple give you commercials to promote you. Who else is getting albums for commercials in 201*. I haven't seen an album commercial in ages on MTV and BET, much less one of the most watched events of the week. And you know Apple is going to promote you on their playlist and albums to listen to pages to get close to a return. Is that any different than Drake, other than Drake getting more money?
It seems like he's using semantics, because he keeps talking about masters and publishing. That doesn't mean you're indie.

I know where the money came from. Apple wasn't just doing that with anyone. And Chance wasn't Drake and Taylor Swift.
He's trying to say well, I couldn't have my album on Tidal, datpiff and Spotify for three weeks. Well, your album wouldn't have been promoted like it was either. So you gained an advantage once it got on those platforms, because Apple had blown you up to a star level.
