I could see Joe thinking to get his own platform. I don’t know the intricacies, but I don’t imagine it would be tremendously difficult to create a podcast app. It seems to be hosting a streamable file in an archived setup, and having the bandwidth to support a certain allotment of users accessing the data.
Who knows. I can see it being attainable in the next few years. I don’t think spotify lets them go easily though. A lot of the podcast allure that they have at the moment started with Joe, and then expanded to other big names.

he said he tried to set up a network with Complex for podcasts with him I think he said Tax, and two or three other successful pods
if Joe and Charla start something it can go. Especially with a Puff or Hov type involved.
We complain about corporations but ****** don’t realize most of the **** popping is our **** and we can do on our own with some tech connects
****** can really be what BET supposed to be.**** podcasts, imagine if urban culture as a whole just kept their social media content and information sharing to their own separate app/apps that financially benefitted us. Twitter/IG/etc. is really controlled by “us” whether it’s memes, dances/music or thottery.
