Finally caught it, don't know why it make me Weebay.gif once they disclosed who Ra al Ghul's seed was after playing Arkham Asylum.

Well, a few other people seem to believe he won't become the Robin that we are used to so maybe it's not that obvious. It's open to interpretation. So his first name is Robin, then he'll become a hero named Robin? I think Nolan gave him that first name to get a chuckle from the audience. Nolan and Bale made it clear that he wouldn't show up in the movies. Blake is a new hero that will rise and be the protector of Gotham. I did read somewhere that John was D. Grayson's middle name and that his cover was being a cop. So if that's accurate then maybe Nolan did intend for them to be the same person but he changed it around.Dude. The movie ended with Batman being still alive and him being called Robin. How more obvious do you want it to be that he's Robin? He's gonna be some random "unknown hero" that's named Robin? No.
might be? shun she might as well have said "im dead" i was in the theater jus :x:Saw it for a second time today.
Talia's death might be most poorly acted in the history of cinema.
I can see her wanting to one up Ra's. But is that said in her speed or even alluded to? I don't remember
Have not seen yet. I'm a try to catch it tomorrow for 5 dollars
i actually loved banes voice and accicent. wild eerie. kinda like master shredder
May be I'm reaching, but I have given it considerable thought since I liked her character so much (I love women villains), I think it is clear that she was completely insane and wanted multiple things with mixed feelings.
I mean you have to be pretty wacked out to sleep with your Father's killer, right? But, you notice she is obsessed with Bruce from the beginning. Yes, that could be taken as trying to attain his trust for her plan, but there seemed to be another deeper and more twisted reasoning.
Could it be possible that yes she did want to exact revenge on her Father AND she also wanted his approval and may be to "one up" him?
And, since Batman had already done this (killed Ra's), she felt both attracted by him and anger towards him since he was able to exact his AND her revenge on Ra's. But, he still killed her Father. So this lead to conflicting feelings of desire for him but also anger that she couldn't be the one to "exact the revenge"? Additionally, she was unable to get her Father's approval and/or "one up" him due to Batman killing him already so that made her want revenge on Batman.
So my take is she was all effed up by these mixed feelings. Leading her to want to: Sleep with Batman, Kill Batman, Get revenge on her Father, and attain her Father's approval/ "one up him".
Reaching? LOL. I thought about this too much :x
Indeed, Talia's motivations are complex.
At the reveal, she mentions that she wants that after Bane was ex-communicated from the LOS that she could not forgive her father until Batman murdered him. Yet, she also says that she wants to honor her father by, "finishing his work" and that "vengeance against Batman is a reward for her patience."
Saw it again for a second time yesterday and in some strange, yet awesome way, it was better the second time around.
These actually sum it up perfectly
