He trippin if that's the plan. His only shot at making to the league was being a good catch and shoot player and he woulda had to stay at UCLA for at least 2 years.

It really won't matter if he enters the draft or not.
He can enter the draft 4 years from now and it still won't matter. Gelo WILL NOT EVER be an NBA player.
Capitalize on his celebrity now and cash out in China where they're going to be stars just because of the name.

I hear a ton about this guy and his sons but don't really follow that, what exactly is Lavar Ball trying to achieve?
Is it just basketball, money and fame? Why is he taking his boys out of school?
On one hand it sounds noble that he is so heavily involved and believes so strongly in his boys talents but it also sounds like he's just farming them out to feed his ego

The middle kid that he just pulled out, LiAngelo, can make millions in china just off of his last name. LaVar did a tour there & they ate him up. LiAngelo has absolutely zero chance at the NBA. Financially, overseas pro-ball makes the most sense. Did not make sense for him waste hours in a classroom, several more hours in study hall as part of the "student-athlete" facade. Lavar put him in a luxury vehicle since high school. The slow grind aint it.
The youngest kid, LaMelo, has millions of followers on social media. More than several NBA stars. He's a legitimate celebrity. Has his own signature shoe. Doesn't make financial sense for him to waste time in a classroom either. He also had playing eligibility concerns at the college level because of those shoes. You're not allowed to have your name on anything outside of college (NCAA) stuff while you're playing.

Gelo shouldn't even be a basketball period. He's always looked awkward and lost on a basketball court. Lavar shoulda got him on football years ago.

LaVar said he put Zo and him in football as kids, they were good, but they didn't like it that much. And Zo and Gelo wouldn't do a sport as kids without the other one.
Plus he thinks the boys are a lil to soft to play football, they don't have the mind for it.
